Card making activity

Session by parent

As IB PYP believes in involving community, therefore, we called one of the parent to give valuable lecture on the third line of inquiry i.e. " Living things depend upon each other" and established a connection between all living things. It was indeed a very knowledgeable interactive session as it also enhances the social and communication skills of the learners. They participated very enthusiastically during the session.

Quiz- Value your mind

  • Quiz competition enables students to think from different angles or simply ' to think  out of the box. To assess their comprehension about the ongoing unit " How the world works" a quiz was organised in the class. It also  help the learners to apply their thinking and communication skills .

Investigating about Stomata

Our little scientists try to investigate and find out  stomata present on the surface of the leaves through which plants take carbon dioxide and release oxygen . This inquiry  help them to comprehend the concept clearly.

Show and tell- living and non living things

To enhance the communication skills of the students "Show and tell" activity is being organised . This activity helped the child to develop their social and language skills. They also learn  to use descriptive language and practice listening skills.

Planting a plant

Provocation is a powerful item in the inquiry learning tool box.  To start the current unit "How the world works" students were taken outside in school's garden area where they planted a sapling and established the connection that  how the world works .

Welcome to IB PYP 1

                       SEEING IS BELIEVING
Education is a joint effort between parents and school to train the next generation of children to be independent and prepared for what’s ahead. IB PYP treats parents as partners in Educating the child and hence wants them to remain updated with the day to day involvement of their child in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas.
PYP team has revived the PYP Blog for all PYP Grades for the parents to go through on daily basis and witness your child’s growth. This PYP Blog will serve as a platform for communicating electronically to keep in loop and update the parents about the day to day activities of our PYP students in the school.

We are open to suggestions for improvement.
Happy Viewing !!!
